PUBLIC NOTICE
CITY OF SYRACUSE
CITY PLANNING COMMISSION

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that a public hearing will be held Monday, May 18, 2009, at 6:00 p.m. in the Common Council Chambers, City Hall, Syracuse, New York to consider in full or in part the following applications:

1) Application No. R-09-06, for a Resubdivision to combine Lots 92-95 and Lots 48, 49, 126-129 and part of Lot 50, of Block 338, of the PN Rust Farm, Amended Tract, into new lots 49A, 50A, 92A, 126A, 127A, and 129A, on properties situated at 217-227 Lincoln Avenue and 438-450 Midland Avenue owned by Syracuse Model neighborhood Corporation, zoned Residential District, Class B, pursuant to the Subdivision Rules and Regulations of the City of Syracuse, as amended.

2) Application No. R-09-07, for a Resubdivision to combine Lots 8 and 9, of Block 2044, of the Eastwood Heights Tract into new Lot 8A, on properties situated at 520-522 South Collingwood Avenue owned by Bruce J. Robinson, zoned Residential District, Class A-1, pursuant to the Subdivision Rules and Regulations of the City of Syracuse, as amended.

3) Application No. R-09-08, for a Resubdivision to combine Lots 4 through 8 and part of Lot 3, of Block 73, of the City of Syracuse, into new Lot 1 of the Erie Place Tract, on property situated at 600-646 Erie Boulevard West, owned by 600 Erie Place Partnership, zoned Industrial District, Class A, pursuant to the Subdivision Rules and Regulations of the City of Syracuse, as amended.

4) Application No. AS-09-12, for a Sign Waiver of area, type, and number, on property situated at 2327 James Street, owned by Five Point Development Grant, zoned Local Business, Class A, pursuant to Part C, Section X, of the City of Syracuse Zoning Rules and Regulations, as amended.

5) Application No. Z-2709,  for a Petition for a Zone Change by Lamar Outdoor Advertising, to change the zoning district of a portion of the parcel at 117 Butternut Street from Residential, Class B to Commercial, Class A, owned by Vincent Morrison Veteran’s Fasteners Company, zoned split Residential, Class B and Commercial, Class A.

6) Application No. AS-09-07, for a request to legalize an existing Off-Premise Advertising sign situated at 117 Butternut Street on the portion of the parcel zoned Residential, Class B, owned by Vincent Morrison Veteran’s Fasteners Company, pursuant to Part B, Section I, Article 7 and Part C, Section VI, Article 7 of the City of Syracuse Zoning Rules and Regulations, as amended.

7) Application No. SP-09-06, for a Special Permit to establish an Indoor Recycling Center for property situated at 817 Butternut Street, owned by Lorenzo & Angelo Laface, zoned Local Business District, Class A, pursuant to the Part B, Section III, Article 2 and Part C, Section IV, Article 2 of the City of Syracuse Zoning Rules and Regulations, as amended.

8) Application No. CS-09-20, to determine formally whether the current (or previous) parking regulations apply to the property situated at 247-49 Fellows Avenue owned by John Joseph & Mary Stark, zoned Residential District, Class A, pursuant to Part A, Section III, Article 2, and Part C, Section III, Article 2, and Part C, Section VIII, Article 6 of the City of Syracuse Zoning Rules and Regulations, as amended.

9) Application No. CS-09-21, to determine formally whether the current (or previous) parking regulations apply to the property situated at 1024-26 Euclid Avenue owned by 936 LLC.,  zoned Residential District, Class A, pursuant to Part A, Section III, Article 2, and Part C,  Section III, Article 2, and Part C, Section VIII, Article 6 of the City of Syracuse Zoning  Rules and Regulations, as amended.

10) Application No. CS-09-24, to determine formally whether the current (or previous) parking  regulations apply to the property situated at 108-10 Buckingham Avenue owned by Frances  Extrom & Leanne Hamilton, zoned Residential District, Class A-1, pursuant to Part A,  Section III, Article 2, and Part C, Section III, Article 2, and Part C, Section VIII, Article 6 of  the City of Syracuse Zoning Rules and Regulations, as amended.

11) Application No. CS-09-38, to determine formally whether the current (or previous) parking  regulations apply to the property situated at 815 Lancaster Avenue owned by Xiaoping  Zhang, zoned Residential District, Class A-1, pursuant to Part A, Section III, Article 2, and  Part C, Section III, Article 2, and Part C, Section VIII, Article 6 of the City of Syracuse  Zoning Rules and Regulations, as amended.

The above proposals are open for inspection at the Syracuse Zoning Office.  A more complete description of the above proposals will be found therein.  Persons wishing to appear may do so in person or by attorney.  Communications in writing in relation thereto may be filed with the City Planning Commission, Room 211, City Hall Commons, 201 East Washington Street, Syracuse, New York, 13202-1426, or at such hearing.
