BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held on Thursday, May 28, 2009, at 1:00 p.m. in the Common Council Chambers, 3rd Floor, City Hall, Syracuse, New York to consider the following applications:
1. Application No V-09-12, by Hotel Skyler, LLC, for a variance of Part B, Section I, Article 9, of the Zoning Rules and Regulations of the City of Syracuse, as amended, to establish a 58-room hotel at 619 & 621 South Crouse Avenue by waiving the front setback, side setback, minimum land density, maximum parking surface coverage, parking area screening requirements, and uses permitted, in a Residential District, Class C zone.
2. Application No. V-09-13, by George Cady & Donna Stoner, for a variance of Part B, Section I, Article 1, of the Zoning Rules and Regulations of the City of Syracuse, as amended, to expand a front porch, on property located at 206 Hurlburt Road, approximately two feet into the required front setback within a Residential District, Class A-1 zone.
3. Application No. V-09-14, by John White, for a variance of Part B, Section I, Article 3, and Part C, Section VIII, Article 6, of the Zoning Rules and Regulations of the City of Syracuse, as amended, to waive the number of required parking spaces for a non-owner occupied dwelling, on property situated at 107 Bassett Street located in a Residential District, Class A zone.
The above proposals are open for inspection at the Syracuse Zoning Office. A more complete description of the above proposals will be found therein.
