ENA has organized a 5-mile run/walk through Eastwood – and we need lots of volunteers (and runners, too)! The race is Sunday, October 21. Start time for runners and walkers is 10:00 a.m. but we will need volunteers there earlier, somewhere between 7:30 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. depending on the task. The race starts and ends at Sunnycrest Park by the ice rink. You can find all the info along with registration forms at http://eastwoodneighbor.com/park_race.html. We need volunteers for various tasks including set-up, registration, traffic control along the route, and the post-race activities. Please contact me if you would like to volunteer – email mbvitale80@yahoo.com or call 560-1264. We would love to have groups volunteer as well (scouts, sports teams, church groups, etc.). And, if you can’t make it to the race as a volunteer, please come out and cheer for the runners during the race!
